Why Expand? . . .

• We have seen 40% growth in Worship Encounter attendance and Kids That Matter from January to June of 2021. Both our auditorium and Kids Ministry spaces are often packed. Church growth experts suggest that when a church facility reaches 80 – 85% capacity, there will begin to be a decline in a short amount of time because people feel crowded. We want to make room for more growth in our Worship Encounters and Kids That Matter.
• We want to be able to offer a larger and better space to our community for events, banquets, meetings, and other opportunities that come our way where we can connect with people who are not part of our church to build relationships, show hospitality, and have gospel conversations.
• The parents of elementary children who are in Kids That Matter currently must check their kids in, walk back outside and around the building in the elements which are ALWAYS extreme in Oklahoma to take their kids to their classrooms, and then walk BACK outside and around the building to come to the Worship Encounter in the auditorium. This expansion will allow for indoor passage to these classrooms.
• The curb appeal of our building is lacking. Our expansion plans would change the look of the front of our building drastically, helping give the visual that something really great and really important is happening here and that we want people to feel welcomed to be part of it.
• We believe this investment into our facility (AKA The BOX) will be a seed planted that will lead to us eventually owning the entire shoppingcenter complex which will provide even more opportunities for impact in our city.
  

What will the expansion look like? . . .

• The auditorium will be expanded to be able to almost double our seating capacity. This will also allow for more tables and space for events and banquets for our community and our ever-growing Dinner With The Pastor events.
• The lobby will be opened up to the east side where Prattville Market currently is. This will also allow indoor passage-way to the Kids That Matter classrooms on the east side of our building.
• Mission Café will be relocated to the east end of the building, allowing for some seating at café tables and counter space.
• We will add a full-service commercial kitchen that will help us expand our food ministries and serve organizations who use our space for banquets and meetings as well.
• The current Mission Café space will be converted into new women’s restrooms.
• We will add 2 Kids That Matter classrooms, relieving pressure from our overcrowded classrooms and creating some space for new growth.
• A new Kids That Matter Check-In will be added on the east end of the building, making check-in for elementary age kids and guests more efficient.
• Some remodel of classrooms will also take place to create better environments for ministry
  

How much will the expansion cost? . . .

• The current estimate for construction and furnishings is $788,488.12 With fluctuating material costs and other variables, this number could (and is likely) to change.

• When we have the money raised!
  

Why is this called the Unusual Giving Campaign? . . .

• In short, because this is unlike any church building campaign we are aware of ever happening.

What can I do? . . .

• PRAY!!! Ask God to give us UNUSUAL Favor and UNUSUAL Resources to see this vision come to pass quickly. Ask God what your part will be.
• COMMIT to give by REVELATION and NOT by REASON. Let God reveal to you what HE wants you to give toward The UNUSUAL Building Campaign. Fight the temptation to go by REASON, causing you to operate out of fear or any other emotion. Trust and obey God.
• Share the vision with others in your circle of influence. Leverage any relationship you have to help raise funds for this vision. Make the ASK of people you know who have the ability to support this vision at any level.
• Ask God to help you think of creative ways you may be able to raise money or come up with UNUSUAL Resources to contribute to the vision.
