For the past 7 years, Church That Matters has had the Helicopter Egg Drop at Clyde Boyd Middle School. It has been an incredible event for us to serve the city of Sand springs in a big way during the Easter season. The leadership at Church That Matters felt that this event has run its course. More and more churches and organizations are doing an event similar to this in the area and we wanted to do something different and unique. Next year we will be hosting an event that will be bigger and better than the Helicopter Egg Drop. In fact, it’s going to take us a whole year to plan! We are also NOT going to let Easter go by this year without making a BIG deal out of it. We are celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus, the entire reason for our faith. 

We are throwing a big party on Easter Sunday at the Church That Matters facility in Sand Springs called Easter With My Peeps. We’re gonna have an area in the parking lot blocked off with food vendors, games, and inflatables. We’ll a live DJ that morning setting the mood and we’re giving away a some cool prizes to kids and adults.  In fact, we’re giving away a Caribbean cruise for two!  We’ll have three Worship Encounter times to choose from on that day, 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30am with awesome worship and a great message.
